THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (FOOTPATH NO.I09085 IN THE CITY OF CARLISLE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cumbria County Council to carry out works to an existing retaining wall along with associated works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along a 225 metre length of Public Footpath No. 109085, which runs alongside Dacre Road and Carlisle Castle in the City of Carlisle between Grid Reference:33960l 556307 and Grid Reference: 339812 556252. The Order will come into operation on 8 March 2021 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 4 weeks.
