THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (BYWAY NO.222007 IN THE PARISH OF CAMERTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES, PEDESTRIANS, HORSES AND CYCLISTS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the likelihood of danger to the public, as a result of a collapsed culvert parapet wall, the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles, pedestrians, horses and cyclists from proceeding along that section of Byway No.222007 in the Parish of Camerton, Seaton, Workington, from its junction with the C20I6, extending in a south easterly direction for approx.l20m.
A suitable alternative route will be available via the unrestricted section of Byway No. 222007, the U2I66 and C20I6, Camerton, Seaton, Workington.
N.B. This follows 2 emergency notices dated 14 April 2020 and 5 May 2020.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and
2. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and
3. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads.
