THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (VARIOUS ROADS IN THE ALLERDALE AREA) [TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.I) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cumbria Highways to carry out highway works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.
Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force. Phased works will not necessarily be done in numerical order.
Cumbria Highways will ensure that local residents and the general public are informed of which roads are to be closed and when, nearer the time. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. N.B. To Facilitate the alternative route during the restriction detailed in I (Phase I) of the Schedule relating to Church Road, Seaton, the existing one-way order on Causeway Road from its junction with Main Road, High Seaton to its junction with Church Road (West to South East) will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the Works.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and

2. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

3. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and

The Order will come into operation on 20 January 2020 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for the duration stated in the schedule over a 3 month period from 20 January 2020 and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. SCHEDULE EXTENT OF RESTRICTIONS AND ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
1. U2309 Church Road, C20I6 Causeway Road and C20I6 Camerton Road, Seaton Workington - Approx. Duration 3 weeks (Ref: G110/19/A430)

Phase I: Church Road, Seaton - From its junction with Main Road to its junction with Causeway Road Seaton, Workington. Alternative Route: via Main Road and Causeway Road Phase 2: C20I6 Causeway Road, Seaton from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Kelsick Park, Seaton, Workington.
Alternative Route: Via the unrestricted sections of Causeway Road, Church Road, Main Road, Seaton Road, C2007 and Camerton Road, Seaton. Phase 3:
(i) C20I6 Causeway Road, Seaton from its junction with Kelsick Park to its junction with Camerton Road and;

(ii) C20I6 Camerton Road from its junction with Causeway Road, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 420m. Alternative Route: Via the unrestricted section of Causeway Road, Church Road, Main Road, Seaton Road, C2007 and the unrestricted section of Camerton Road, Seaton.

2. U2992 Hunday Court, Ashfield, Workington -Approx. Duration I week (Ref: Gl I0/I9/A43I)

From a point adjacent to No.61 Hunday Court, extending in a south westerly then south easterly direction for approx. 100m. There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles.
3. U2I96 Mockerkin - Approx. Duration I week (Ref: GII0/I9/A432)

From its junction with the U2I97 (Mockerkin) to its junction withtheU2l95(Mosser).
Alternative Route: Via the U2I95 (Mosser), U2I99, U2I97 (Pardshaw), A5086, C2030 and U2I97 (Mockerkin)
4. C2022 Hayton - Approx. Duration I week (Ref: GII0/I9/A433)

From a point approx. 145m north east of its junction with the C2023, extending in a north easterly direction for approx 160m. Alternative Route: Via the unrestricted sections of the C2022, A596 (Prospect) and C2023.
5. C2054 Branthwaite Road, Workington - Approx. Duration I week (Ref: Gl I0/I9/A434)

From a point approx. 410m south east of its junction with the A596, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 440m. Alternative Route: Via the unrestricted sections of the C2054, A595andA596.
