THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO 570030 PARISH OF SKELSMERGH) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2020 The above named Order made on 9 January 2020 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will divert the full width of that section of public footpath no 570030 at Gurnal Bridge from GR 352102 497518 southeastward* for 52 metres to GR 352151 497502; to run from GR 352121 497514 southeastward* for 33 metres to GR 352151 497502. The width of the new section of path will be 2 metres.
A copy of the Order and map may be inspected free of charge at Kendal Library, Stricklandgate, Kendal and the offices of the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ (ref 5.1.447). Any supporting statements or objections with respect to the Order can be sent in writing to the Countryside Access Team, (by post or email as addresses above) to be received not later than 13 February 2020 and should state the grounds on which they are made.
If no objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn the Cumbria County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State any objections which have not been withdrawn will be submitted with the Order. Chief Legal Officer
