THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (FOOTPATH NO.S 527002 AND 527003 IN THE PARISH OF GRAYRIGG AND FOOTPATH NO. 584001 PARISH OF WHINFELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Cumbria County Council on 9 April 2019, which became operative on IS April 2019, to enable Eric Wright Construction Ltd to carry out river diversion works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the following sections of Footpath:-

1. 160m section of Footpath No. 527002 Parish of Grayrigg situate at Thursgill between Grid Kef: 356822 496862 and Grid Ret 356789 796733.



2. 187m section of Footpath No. 527003 Parish of Grayrigg situate at Thursgill between Grid Ref: 356822 496862 and Grid Ret 356983 496903.



3. 15m section of Footpath No. 584001 Parish of Whinfell situate at Thursgill between Grid Ref: 356798 496888 and Grid Ref: 356822 496862



:has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 15 April 2020. There is no suitable alternative route for pedestrians available. Any queries to the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ or

If the works have not been completed within the extension

period, the Order many be extended for a further period with

the approval of the appropriate Minister.
