THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (CI004 BRACKENHILL, NEAR EASTON, UI445 HARKER ROAD ENDS AND

Ul 150 BLACKHALL WOOD, NEAR DURDAR) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable TK Gallagher to carry our works for new connections ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following lengths of road;

1. CI004 Brackenhill, near Easton from a point approx. 900m north east of its junction with the C1007, extending in a north easterly direction for approx 175m;

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the CI004, U1276, C1006 and the C1007.

Duration: From 23 September 2019 for approx. 3 days (Ref: C389).

2. UI445 Harker Road Ends from its {unction with the UI07I to its junction Meadowfield;



There is no suitable alternative route for vehicles.

Duration: From 7 October 2019 for approx. 7 days (Ref:

388).

3. Ul 150 Blackhall Wood, near Durdar from a point approx 650m north west of its junction with the C1014, extending in a westerly direction for approx 100m;



There is no suitable alternative route for vehicles.

Duration: From 14 October 2019 for approx. 3 days (Ref:

394).

N.B Vehicular access/egress for residents during the restrictions detailed in 2 and 3 above will be available as and when deemed safe to do so by the contractors on site. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:

a. Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and



b. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and



c. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and



d. Apply to vehicles being used in connection with the Works. Any queries to Cumbria Highways, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle, CA6 4SJ (0300 303 2992) quoting the relevant reference stated above.



The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2019 and may continue in force for a period of up to eighteen months from that date as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required as stated above.
