NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PARISH OF KNARESDALE WITH KIRKHAUGH PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 29 (TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Knaresdale with Kirkhaugh Public Footpath No 29 in the County of Northumberland. The route is described as follows: From the junction with Public Footpath No 51 on the western bank of the River South Tyne in an easterly direction for a distance of 60 metres crossing the River South Tyne to a point on the eastern bank of the River South Tyne 280 metres north-west of the Old Rectory. There is no alternative route available. The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2019 for a period of 6 Months. Further enquiries should be made to Duncan Lovatt, Area Countryside Officer, Telephone 01670 623017 or by email to Duncan.Lovatt@northumberland.gov.uk The closure has been requested by the Green Spaces & Countryside Manager in the interests of public safety due to the dangerous condition of the footbridge crossing the River South Tyne.
