ARMSTRONG John Helen, Joanne, John and families would like to sincerely thank all relatives and friends for their support, kindness, cards, messages, flowers and generous donations in memory of John. Thanks to the wonderful A&E, ICU and Theatre staff who did everything they possibly could. Also thanks to Rev. Canon Geoffrey Ravalde for the lovely service and kind words and to the people of St Marys Congregation who enabled the service to run smoothly. Also to David Shingler, Organist, for the beautiful and appropriate music. Thanks also to Lindsay Thwaite for his very fitting tribute and to Bill Lightfoot for his poem, Colin Robinson for his reading, Billy Irving for playing the bagpipes. Also thanks to the bearers who carried John with such respect and dignity. Thanks to Mary Huntington, Baskets and Bunches and Rainbow Flowers for the beautiful floral tributes. Also to the Bowling Club Staff and Lisa Hodgson for providing excellent refreshments. Last but not least, many thanks to Darren Studholme Funeral Director for his reassuring, caring, efficient and ongoing support throughout, also to his marvellous staff.
