BOWE George Thomas Shirley, Sheila, Mike, Jackie and family of the late George, would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the lovely cards, cakes, beautiful flowers, friendly calls and kind words of sympathy during this very sad time, they were all deeply appreciated, also for all the generous donations to the Great North Air Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation. Very grateful thanks to Rev'd Ben Philips for the lovely service, sincere thanks to the North West Ambulance Service technicians and paramedics for the care George received, to David and Dianne Cowen for organising everything at the Church, to Roseberry Florists for the beautiful flowers, to Alan Blaylock for driving the 'very fitting' vintage tractor and trailer which carried George on his final journey, the bearers and finally special thanks to Peter Watson, Jill and staff of Jill Glencross Independent Funeral Directors, Dalston for their help, support and kindness during this sad and difficult time.
