McWILLIAMS David Leslie (D&D McWilliams Opticians) Peacefully at home on Friday, 19th November 2021 surrounded by his loving family, David aged 61 years. Beloved husband and soul mate of Daphne, much loved dad of Alice, Sarah, Beth and Kate, dearly loved son of Robert and Monica, and a cherished grandad. David will be a deeply missed brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law, uncle, friend and not least an Optician to so many. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday 1st December at 2:20pm. So sad to hear of David's passing, i joined the opticians when i moved to Carlisle way back in 2003. He spent over a year helping me adjust to wearing contact lenses, his patience was amazing! I will be forever grateful for your years of looking after me and my family, rest in peace and my thoughts with all of you at this very difficult time. Robin.

So sad to hear of David's passing. My love goes out to Daphne and family, thinking of you all. He was a true gentleman who was always friendly and made me laugh he had the best sense of humour. You will be a big miss. Thinking of you all at this sad time xx
