SAVAGE nee Hewson Peacefully, at the West Cumberland Hospital on Friday, 19th February. Joan Alison of Penrith, much loved wife of John, cherished mam of Alison, Michael and David, sadly missed mam-in-law of Dave, Diane and Julie, devoted grandma of Dawn, Oliver and Claudia, a very proud great-grandma of Petra and a dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend. Aged 85 years. Private service and interment at Penrith Cemetery on, Wednesday, 3rd March at 11:00am. For anyone wishing to pay their respects, the funeral cortwill leave the family home at 10:50am, travelling along Oak Road to Scaws, up Fell Lane and along Beacon Edge. Family flowers only, but if desired donations in memory of Joan for the Stroke Association may be sent c/o Richardson's Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, CA11 8HR.
