WHITFIELD Frances (formerly Stonebridge) (nee Atkinson) Passed away peacefully on Monday 2nd September 2019, at Kingston Court, after a short illness, aged 90 years. Widow of Eberhard Stonebridge and Ronald Whitfield. Much loved mother of John and Peter Stonebridge and grandmother of William, Andrew, Anna and Adam, mother-in-law of Vivienne and Lesley and a good friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday 16th September, at 2:20pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Carlisle Samaritans, for whom she was a volunteer and supporter. The family wish to thank the Cumberland Infirmary and Kingston Court staff for their compassionate care.
