THOMSON Peacefully at Barrock Court, Low Hesket, on Tuesday 6th August, Betty, formerly of Canny Croft, Penrith and Kirkoswald, aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Reverend George Thomson, loving mother of Carol, Susan and Michael, mother-in-law of Claire and David, grandmother of Charlotte, Jonathan and Lucy. Funeral Service at Christ Church, Penrith, on Monday 19th August, at 11:00am, followed by committal at Carlisle Crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Betty may be made to Water Aid and can be left at the service or sent c/o Walkers Funeral Directors, Tynefield House, Penrith, CA11 8HY.
