THE emergency services in Cumbria have appeal for drivers visiting the Lake District or other busy destinations over the Bank Holiday to park 'considerately.'
Bank holidays are some of the busiest times for Cumbria's road network, particularly in the most attractive Lake District locations as tourists drive into the area.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Fire and Rescue asked for drivers to 'help us reach you by parking responsibly.'
They said: "Please park considerately and in a way that would allow our vehicles to get through in an emergency."
