Workington Town only had 14 men and they could not finish with a victory as they went down 46-26 at Halifax.

It was tight at times and the two sides were locked at 10-10 but Halifax picked up two tries in the final two minutes of the half.

They came out in the second half and continued their dominance.

Town came back to 28-22 but again Halifax stepped on the gas to pull away in the latter stages.

Town got a late consolation try through Declan Hulme but it was not enough and Halifax took the win 46-26
