Workington Town only had 14 men and they could not finish with a victory as they went down 46-26 at Halifax.
It was tight at times and the two sides were locked at 10-10 but Halifax picked up two tries in the final two minutes of the half.
They came out in the second half and continued their dominance.
Town came back to 28-22 but again Halifax stepped on the gas to pull away in the latter stages.
Town got a late consolation try through Declan Hulme but it was not enough and Halifax took the win 46-26
