Young Workington Town star Tee Ritson walked away with three top awards from the club's annual presentation evening on Friday.

Ritson, who has had a superb season, also winning a cap for Thailand, won the coveted players' player of the year trophy, voted for by his team-mates.

He was also the Travellers Rest Supporters' Club player of the year, winning the Fred Todhunter Memorial Trophy.

The winger also collected the Eric Easterbrook Trophy for the most improved player.

Jarrod Sammut also picked up three trophies after finishing the season as both the top try scorer and top points scorer.

The wily half-back was also judged to to be the most influential player on the field.

The News & Star player of the year, voted for by the fans, went to powerhouse prop Marc Shackley.

And he was also the favourite of the Red House Supporters Club as they named him as their player of the year.

The overall player of the year award went to full-back Jack Murphy.

Centre Jason Mossop, who has just been awarded a testimonial for his services to the club, bagged two trophies.

The Workington Town Ladies Support Group named him their player of the year as did the Workington Town Supporters Club.

The Young Supporters Club presented their award to Matty Gee while Oliver Gordon took the coaches' player of the year, lifting the John Bentley Trophy.

The Pro-Cam award for try of the season went to John Patrick for his effort against Whitehaven.

The final award for clubman of the year, taking home the Frank Gilmour Memorial Shield, went to Richard West for all his hard work organising the club's lottery to bring in extra funding.

There was an additional award presented to Town's community manager Marnie Jackson for outstanding contribution to schools rugby league in Cumbria.

After winning this, she has been shortlisted for the national accolade, which will be decided at the Grand Final next month.
