Workington Reds got back on track in the Evo Stik Premier League with a hard fought 1-0 victory over visitors Grantham Town.
A 24-minute penalty from the boot of Dave Symington proved the difference between the two sides.
Reds played some great passing football and could have added to their tally on a number of occasions.
Aaran Taylor also made one of the saves of the season to keep his side in it, just getting a hand to the volley of Grant Ryan and tipping it onto the crossbar.
Joe McGee looked lively in attack for Reds while Matty Douglas looked strong in defence.
Reds now turn their attention to a trip to Skelmersdale on Tuesday night.
