Tunstall will be marked man warns Keighley's Eaton

Workington Town’s Matthew Tunstall will be a marked man this weekend when they play Keighley in the play-offs.

Keighley coach Barry Eaton has warned his players to keep an eye on Tunstall, currently in his testimonial season at Derwent Park, who he rates as the most impressive player in their four clashes this season.

“Tunstall has been outstanding I think and his offload game is fantastic,” said Eaton.

“He has played brilliantly against us, he is a real handful when he has got the ball in his hands.

“He will be a big threat and we need to keep him quiet, along with Shaun Lunt if he is fit.

“Lunt has only played against us twice in four games but he is a formidable threat to any side, a really dangerous player.”

Eaton is taking no chances against Town, after four very close games, which his side have just edged by single figures each time.

“Every game we have played has been close and I am fully expecting this to be the same. There has just been one score between us but I am hoping we can edge another,” he added.

“There has just been a bounce of the ball making the difference and a little bit of luck at the right time.

“In a couple of the games we got into a lead which I think helped us as Workington have come back late on.

“But the players are aware that this is play-off rugby and form goes out of the window and it will be a close battle.”

Keighley have slight injury doubts over hooker James Feather and Jamaine Wray who both picked up knocks in the win over London Skolars on Friday night. But Eaton is hopeful that, with the longer lay-off, both will feature against Town.
