14-try Kells crush Lowca in CARL division one clash

The Iggesund Cumberland Amateur Rugby League is running on a greatly reduced output for the rest of this month, and throughout August.
League fixtures will be kept to a minimum in keeping with an agreement reached when the decision was made to switch to summer rugby.
Kells A, still waiting to hear what’s going to happen over their abandoned Dale Campbell-Savours Cup final with Flimby, picked-up comfortable Division One points on Saturday.
It finished 74-4 after Kells had virtually put the game to bed at half-time, opening-up a 32-0 lead.
They scored 14 tries, nine of which were converted by teenager Ben Milburn.
Dan Joyce and Nathan Mann led the way with a hat-trick apiece while Andrew Smith crossed twice.
Kells’ other touchdowns came from Craig Benson, Luke Richardson, Reece O'Neil, Craig Kirkbride, Milburn and Calum Rowlandson.
The single Lowca try was scored by Ryan Nicholson.
Unfortunately, the league game between Salterbeck Storm and Ellenborough had to be called-off because the Storm could not raise sufficient players.
