Eden Junior Golf Club have qualified for the regional finals of a competition next month.
Having finished as runners-up of the Cumbria Junior Matchplay Golf League this month, they came out on top in the regional event.
The most recent stage of the tournament took place at Brampton Golf Club last Saturday. Eccleston Park Golf Club, Wallasey and Whitley Bay were the other teams involved.
As a result of winning last weekend's competition, Eden have qualified for the Home Nations Inter-club Championship Semi-Final that will take place at Carlisle Golf Club on Saturday, October 7.
Success for the team at Carlisle in the regional final will mean a national final place at Clitheroe, with that stage set to be televised live on Sky Sports . Further success will see the young Cumbrian golfers compete in Portugal.
Meanwhile, two of Eden's teenagers have qualified for the British Junior Masters tournament that will start on Tuesday.
Alex Park, 17, and 15-year-old Tyler Davidson could brush shoulders with the likes of Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy has announced he will be taking part in the senior event, two days after the Junior competition.
