Carlisle Trampoline Club enjoyed success at the Northern Championships at Stockton-on-Tees.

Competing in the North-east earlier this month, all the gymnasts from the Carlisle club took to the competition floor and completed outstanding routines, many of which had increased their difficulty mark in their voluntary routine.

Many of the Cumbrian athletes took away trophies and medals. Daniel Miller came first in the Under-9s games, David Farish topped the Under-11s age category and Lewis Brown came top of the pile in the Under-15s games. Sarah Adlen came second in the Under-15s games.

Harry Cross came top in the Under-11s championships, while Alfie Dixon came second and Emily Trotter finished third in the same age category.

Ben Ewart also came third in the Under-15s championships.

Carlisle also took home team medals in the Under-13s and Under-15s games as well as the Under-15s girls’ championships.

Also many synchro trophies were awarded, with the Under-11s boys coming first and second.

The Under-13s girls came second, the Under-17 girls came third and the men’s team came third overall at the annual competition, which took place on September 30 and October 1.
