WYCOMBE Wanderers knocked second division leaders Millwall out of the FA Cup on a glory night at Adams Park.
After drawing the original game 0-0 in South London, Lawrie Sanchez's Wanderers completed the job in Tuesday's replay at Adams Park.
They ran the best side in Division Two ragged in the first 45 minutes before putting up the shutters to keep them out in the second period.
Top scorer Andy Rammell set the Blues on their way to a famous cup victory when he headed them in front in the 18th minute from Steve Brown's free kick.
But Millwall took just seven minutes to get back on level terms when Joe Dolan hooked in the equaliser after Wanderers had failed to clear.
Then up stepped the most unlikely cup hero to score a spectacular winner. Rugged Irish defender Paul McCarthy acrobatically bicycle-kicked Wycombe back in front after Niall Thompson had headed Steve Brown's corner back into the danger area.
Neil Harris hit the post for Millwall in the last minute but Wycombe survived to claim a richly-deserved third round tie at home to Grimsby in the New Year.
