Adam Boyd quits Celtic Nation

Star striker Adam Boyd has quit Northern League Division One outfit Celtic Nation.
The 30-year-old forward, who dropped out of the professional game in the summer to sign for Carlisle-based Nation, parted company with the club yesterday after just three months.
Former Hartlepool and Leyton Orient man Boyd's move to the Gillford Park-based outfit raised a few eyebrows in the close season following his release from Victoria Park.
He managed only a solitary goal during his brief stay - a memorable volley to win the FA Cup tie against Dunston last month.
Boyd, who arrived alongside fellow ex-Football League pros Graeme Lee and Paul Arnison, departs having played in each of the side's four league games this campaign.
"It was a mutual decision from both parties," said joint boss Steve Skinner. "It's a decision that's been made and that's it really."
