Another reduced programme of Workington Sunday League matches saw only three games played.

Hall Park continues to be water bound while matches at Moorclose have been restricted to just one since the start of December.

At Wakefield Road, hosts Deer Orchard were beaten 3-1 by Premier League title challengers Senhouse Street.

Gavin Graham was a hat-trick hero for Grasslot as they beat Millfield Miners 5-1, also in the Premier Division.

Rhys Morgan and John Mulgrew were also on target for the winners with Tom Williamson netting the Miners’ consolation.

In Division One, Workington Grapes were 4-0 winners against Seaton Rangers with goals from Daniel Storey (2), Adam Cowen and Ben Powell.

Five other scheduled games were all called-off because of waterlogged ptches.

The Sunday County Cup quarter-finals were drawn live on BBC Radio Cumbria’s Friday sports show when four teams from the west joined four from the east, including current holders Salutation.

The games, to be played on Sunday, March 5, are: Bluebell v FC Reiver; Arroyo Arms v Senhouse Street; Salutation v Royal Scot; Northside v Mirehouse.
