The Sunday County Cup Final is going to be an all-east affair this season after the west challenge petered out at the semi-final stage.

Both Bluebell (Workington League) and Mirehouse (Egremont) had home advantage but they were beaten by their Carlisle visitors.

Arroyo Arms won 3-1 at Bluebell while holders Salutation were 5-2 victors at Mirehouse.

In the Workington Sunday League, the Grapes were comfortable 5-1 winners at Labour Club in the Divisional Cup.

Adam Cowan (2), Ben Powell (2) and Mark Robertson scored for the Grapes with Ellis Gurdhouse responding for the home side.

Grasslot were comfortable 5-0 winners at Dearham in the Premier League with goals from Sam Beattie (2), Ryan Porter, Gavin Graham and Dean Scholey.

Voodoo and Millfield Miners couldn’t be separated as they drew 2-2, although the visitors were grateful for an own goal to help them earn the point.

Anthony Zajac was also on the mark for Millfield Miners while Anthony Hilland and Gary O’Driscoll scored the Voodoo goals.

Lee Meddings, often a goalkeeper for Deer Orchard, showed his versatility by scoring twice in the Cockermouth side’s 3-2 win at Sun Inn. Robert Cox got Orchard’s third while Richard Hird and Kingsley Grandison netted for the Sun.

Plenty of goals in three clear-cut victories in Division One, led by Seaton Rangers who beat Commercial 6-1.

Greg Kerr, Adam Kilgour, Jordan Ridley, Brandon Renney, Jonas Burstrom and Craig Williams scored for Seaton with Liam Brash netting Commercial’s consolation.

Yankees were 5-0 winners at Sun Inn Athletic with Tommy Whitehead’s hat-trick leading the way. Calvin Feeney and Matt Reid were also on target.

In the other game, leaders Broughton were 3-0 winners at Borough Miners.
