St Benedict’s have reached Twickenham after a hard-fought 12-0 home win against Wolverhampton.
Tries from Ryan Fisher and veteran player-coach Steven Wood got them through a tense semi-final in the Intermediate Cup.
Secretary Stephen Howse said: “I think it’s a remarkable effort for a community club like ours, which was only formed in 1974, to reach a national final at Twickenham.”
Three finals will be played on the day at Twickenham on May 7 with Benny’s featuring in the last one.
