Eccleshall travel to City’s Gillford Park this afternoon (3pm kick-off), before they meet again next Saturday.
James Tose’s troops will be confident of a good return from games against a side sitting second bottom of the table, with only 13 points from 30 matches this season.
City boss Tose said: “We are at home, so we will look to put in a performance that will get us three points.
"Some of the performances have seen us not get our reward so far, so we just need to have that little bit of luck which we didn’t have on Wednesday night and hopefully we can get the three points.
"That will hopefully just set us off going again.”
Carlisle City will come into the match on the back of their Cumberland Cup semi-final defeat to Penrith on Wednesday.
Captain Alan Casey put the Sky Blues ahead, before Kevin Connelly equalised. Penrith won the penalty shootout 3-2.
Tose said: “There were loads of positives. I think the overall performance was a positive.
"Tactically, the game plan looked like it was working well and we were forcing Penrith to go a bit longer, which was playing into our hands. It worked well but it wasn’t to be.”
The game also saw ex-Bonny Blues boss Tose return to Frenchfield Park.
He said: “It was lovely being back. I have fond memories of the place.
"I won the Cumberland Cup as manager, and me and Richard [Prokas, Tose’s joint manager at Penrith] still keep in touch. We are decent friends."
