The latest Smurfit Kappa Division One fixtures saw leaders Cleator Moor Celtic consolidate their position with a fine 5-2 win on the road at Unisun.

There was a brace each for Hall and Johnstone and one for Weatherill, with Bruno Lapa and Naduzi Shekinah Nwafor Orizu getting the home side's goals.

Frizington Whitestar kept tabs on the leaders with an 11-0 win over Whitehaven Amateurs. Jordan Lee fired home a double hat-trick, there was a brace for Ben Graham and one each for Glen Meagan, Aaron King and Aaron Rossi to complete the rout.

Windscale hosted Gosforth and went down 5-3, despite a Lewis Jolly hat-trick, with Rhys Singleton getting his own hat-trick for the visitors. Goals from Owen Woodburn and Jack Denwood completed the scoring and ultimately gave Gosforth the win.

Two Quarter-Final games were completed in the GMB Union Whitehaven Cup, with Carlisle City edging Division One Bransty Rangers 2-1, with their goals coming from Harry Thompson and Jack Davidson, with Stewart O’Prey replying for Rangers.

Aspatria travelled to Silloth and came away 5-1 victors through goals from hat-trick hero Darryl Creighton and a further one apiece for Malcolm Graham and Sean Law, with Nico Watt replying from the penalty spot.

Mirehouse couldn’t raise a team, which saw Workington Athletic progress without kicking a ball.
