Blues freeze prices for next season

CARLISLE United have pegged season ticket prices for next season – even if they are promoted to the Coca-Cola Championship.

The surprise decision means that fans can watch home games next season against a host of glamour clubs and teams currently in the Premiership for as little as £12.20 per match, based on an early-buy adult terrace season ticket.

The Blues are second in League One, five points behind long-time leaders Swansea. But more importantly, they are five points clear of Doncaster and the Cumbrians also have a game in hand and a superior goal difference.

The top two clubs will be automatically promototed and the bookies are tipping United to make the Championship, just three seasons after they were playing Conference football.

An adult season ticket in the Cumberland Building Society Stand will cost £360 while an adult and two juniors in the family season ticket category will cost £616 seated and £512 standing.

Season tickets for the 2008-09 season can be pre-booked by visiting the Brunton Park ticket office, Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Further information is available by telephoning the ticket office direct line on 0844 371 1921 or from the club website at www.carlisleunited.co.uk
