LOWTHER Castle is an intriguing place. Built 200 years ago for the Lowther family, it was abandoned in the 1930s and gradually fell into dereliction.

I’m enjoying the Paralympics more than the Olympics. Some of the races have been fantastic, goalball is fascinating and wheelchair basketball is gripping (amazing, considering I hate the professional version played by overpaid giants in the US).
