Christmas is coming, the mouse is getting fat...

MOUSE UPDATE: Apologies for not informing you last week, but Jerry, the mouse that has adopted (and is now adapting) our house is still alive and well and, er, growing.
The constant diet of jam and cake that he is managing to nick from various rubbish lures and traps is turning him into a bit of a porker.
The mousehole he has chewed out of our skirting board is a bit bigger and he’s not moving quite as fast as he did when he first moved in.
I caught sight of him the other day and he looked more like Christopher Biggins in a furry grey suit than a lithe, scavenging, sleekit wee beastie.
On the plus side, he’s growing so fast that I don’t think we’ll need to order a turkey this Christmas – at this rate, he’ll be big enough to feed a family of six – if we can catch him...
