Skater on firm footing

DIDN’T he do well?
Ray Quinn, X-Factor nearly man, might just have found his true niche – one that he’d previously never suspected.
Dancing On Ice, ITV might not be the most entertaining talent show – unless, as a Cumbrian, you can’t wait to clock Roxanne on her blades from tomorrow – but it has thrown up something of an eye-opener already this year.
Young Quinn reckoned he’d not skated before, and yet, when he took to the ice for the opening show he was a showstopper. .
Good thing too – there’s only so much any viewer can take of Holly Willoughby’s frequently-exposed breasts and Philip Schofield’s Mr Nice Guy routine.
Big date tomorrow night when Roxanne Palette twirls her stuff. Go Roxy!
