Two men had to be rescued from their stricken yacht after being trapped against a harbour wall.
The men were in their yacht near Whitehaven harbour on Saturday afternoon when the boat lost power to its engine.
The pair were trying to get back to the harbour
Workington RNLI were called to assist at 12.52pm and were on the scene by 1.15pm to rescue the men.
A spokesman said: “We towed them back into the harbour.
“The two men were taken off in an ambulance as they were a bit shaken up.
“There was a 30mph wind and their boat was severely damaged.”
