Woman punched in face in Whitehaven

Police are hunting a woman in connection with an assault in Senhouse Street, Whitehaven.

The incident took place at 1.30am on Sunday and a 22-year-old woman from the Moor Row area was punched in the face.

The suspect was described as18 to 20-years-old, white, 5ft 7ins tall, with dark hair and a medium build.

Anyone with information call PC Kevin Ball on 101.
