Woman kicked in head during gang attack at music festival

A woman was kicked in the head during an attack by a 'gang of females' at a music festival.

Police want witnesses to the assault, which happened at the Copeland Athletic Stadium, Whitehaven, at about 8pm on May 25 during the Mighty Boof at the Stadium event, to contact them.

The woman was kicked while she was on the ground and sustained several injuries, which required medical treatment.
