Woman hurt after crash closes high street

A woman has been injured in a collision which has closed a busy road.

The high street in Cleator Moor has reopened after it was blocked both ways following the incident at around 9.50am today.

Police say the crash involved one vehicle, a silver Kia Venga, driven by a woman.

The 31-year-old woman from Whitehaven has been taken to the West Cumberland Hospital by ambulance but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
