West Cumbrian man facing trial on GBH charge

A man is to go on trial later in the year accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on another man.

Russell Lee Roberts, 31, of Dent Place, Cleator Moor, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before a judge at Carlisle Crown Court.

He was remanded on bail and will go on trial in the week beginning September 29.
