Vandalised Uppies and Downies statue to be repaired

The damaged Uppies and Downies statue in Workington is to be repaired – two years after vandals first struck.

Oh I don't know. Something historic and artisitic being wrecked by good-for-nothing chavs would probably stand as an accurate symbol of present-day Workington for future generations.

honestly cant see the point in people damaging things like this. in years to come,our childrens children will one day wonder why there local history will be in tatters because of todays people who go around damaging things like this
