Three men injured in attack outside Carlisle nightclub

Police are looking for a man in his early 20s who attacked three others outside a Carlisle nightclub in what police are describing as an “unprovoked assault”.

The incident, in which one of the victims suffered a suspected broken nose, happened in the early hours of Monday morning, near Outrageous in English Street.

A Cumbria police spokesman said the first man was punched in the face causing the suspected broken nose and facial swelling.

He added: “A second male was headbutted causing abrasions and the third male received an abrasion to the forehead.”

The suspect was described as a white man, of medium build, aged about 20 or 21 years old and with a pale complexion. He had white hair in a comb over style.

He was wearing a blue waistcoat, matching trousers and a white shirt with faint stripes.

The spokesman said: “Prior to this incident all the men were believed to have been inside the Outrageous nightclub and possibly McQueens.”

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 1.15am and 1.30am. Call 101.
