Thieves grab handfuls of jackets in store raid

Jackets worth £1,500 were stolen by two men who ran into a shop and grabbed them.

Police said the men went into the Berghaus store, at the Gretna Gateway outlet, shortly before 5pm on Monday. They grabbed “handfuls” of jackets and left.

The men were later seen getting into a silver VW Passat in the car park.

They were both said to be aged around 60 and of medium build.

One wore a grey hooded top with the hood up, and the other a dark hooded top, also with the hood up. Both had their faces concealed by what may have been a scarf. Call police on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
