Suspected burglar 'robs' victim in own home

A man was robbed of a gold chain around his neck in his own home.

Police say the victim confronted a suspected burglar in his home in Moss Bay Road, Workington, shortly after 6am today.

The suspect grabbed a gold chain which was around the victim's neck before making off with it.

Officers carried out a search and arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of burglary soon afterwards.
