Two Carlisle sisters will take part in the Race For Life this summer in memory of their best friend, who died before she got the chance to do the run herself.

Race for Life photo Generous charity runners in Carlisle have collected £1 million for Cancer Research. Race for Life has been running in the city for 10 years and with entrants already lining up to support the 2008 event, that total should be given a huge boost.
