Police search for missing Carlisle teenager

Police are appealing for information on a missing boy who may have got on a train.

Carlisle resident David Michael Kirkup, 16, was last seen by his dad at 2.45pm yesterday outside shops on Petteril Bank Road, Harraby.

Police believe David may have got on a southbound train yesterday afternoon, and are asking anyone who has information as to his whereabouts to get in touch.

David is described as being 5ft 10in tall and of a very slim build and has fair hair.

He was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a black Jack & Jones waterproof jacket and black trainers with red stripes.

Anyone with any information can contact Cumbria Police on 101 and ask for the duty sergeant at Carlisle Police Station.
