Police probe early hours assaults in Carlisle

Police are appealing for witnesses to what they describe as an “unprovoked assault” in Carlisle.

A 26-year-old man was punched at the Attic nightclub in Crosby Street, Carlisle, around 2am on Sunday.

They are also investigating an assault on a 15-year-old girl who was kicked by another female, injuring her leg, in The Crescent just after 1am on Sunday.

Officers say the suspect left in the direction of Warwick Road.
