Police investigate Carlisle and Workington assaults

Two men were bitten in the toilet area of a busy Carlisle nightclub.

The assault happened at around 2am on Sunday, July 13, at The Vibe on Botchergate.

A man was arrested at the scene and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police are also investigating an assault in Workington on the same day, which took place at around 3.15-30pm near Moorclose Shops.

The victim was a man from the area and suffered facial injuries. The attacker was also male and wearing a cream t-shirt and a red jacket.
