Burglars raid north Cumbrian restaurant

Police are hunting three suspects who broke into a rural Cumbrian restaurant.

Fantails Restaurant, in Wetheral, was broken into in the early hours of yesterday morning, and till drawer and cash were stolen.

A Cumbria police spokesman said officers believe three people took part in the break-in. They were all wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact DC Monkhouse, from Carlisle CID, on 101.
