Police found child porn photos on man's computer, Carlisle court told

A man who used to live near Penrith has admitted downloading pornographic pictures of children onto his computer.

Carlisle Crown Court heard that the pictures were found when police searched 45-year-old Graeme Davies' home at Cliburn after he was arrested following an allegation of rape.

No further action was taken for any rape offence because the allegation was withdrawn.

But today Davies, who now lives in Carnforth, pleaded guilty to seven charges of making indecent photographs of children.

He was remanded on bail for background reports and is due to be sentenced on April 4.
