Police attend Currock Road crash

Three vehicles collided on Currock Road in Carlisle.

However, none of the four people involved was seriously injured.

Police received a call to the scene, near the street's Esso petrol station, just after 1.40pm today.

All of the cars involved were registered to Carlisle addresses. They were a Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Vauxhall Meriva.

One woman who is deaf was taken to The Cumberland Infirmary with minor injuries. A man with neck injuries was treated by paramedics at the scene. Information on which cars the victims were in has not been released.

The road was blocked until around 4.20pm while emergency services were at the scene but has now been cleared.
