Police appeal after motorcyclist hurt in Carlisle crash

Police are appealing for information after a motorbike accident in Carlisle which left a man with serious injuries.

The 46-year-old suffered two fractured arms as he rode his green Kawasaki ZX900 towards Durdar.

He collided with a Mini outside the shops at Mount Pleasant Road.

Police want to hear from anybody who may have seen the accident and from anybody who may have seen the motorbike involved in the minutes leading up to the crash.

The injuries sustained by the rider, who was taken to the city's Cumberland Infirmary, were not life threatening.
