Police appeal after man attacked in Carlisle

A man was 'punched' outside a nightclub in the early hours on Saturday, police say.

Police are appealing for witnesses to what was believed to be an unprovoked attack.

A man was allegedly punched by another man in Lowther Street, opposite Club Concrete, in Carlisle, in the early hours on Saturday, police have said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cumbria police on 101.
